Software's Expanded Language Capabilities Support Surging Global Customer Base
AUSTIN, Texas—July 11, 2007-- Mirage Networks®, Inc., developer of patented Network Access Control (NAC) technology, announced today the broad expansion of support for its international customer base. These improvements are part of the latest release of Mirage Endpoint Control. The product and service focus is in response to the tremendous success Mirage is experiencing internationally.
“Because Mirage Networks’ customer base is widening across the world, it makes sense for us to internationalize our product line,” said David Thomas, vice president of products for Mirage Networks. “We have a tradition of being the easiest to deploy NAC solution on the market in the US. Localizing our products for different markets around the world clearly differentiates us from the competition and ensures that Mirage will remain the industry leader in NAC deployments worldwide.”
Internationalization is the process of adapting to a global market by creating software that meets the needs of an international community, usually taking into consideration local languages, time zones, cultural norms, and more. Mirage has designed its Endpoint Control software to work as a locally-created product would in countries around the world. Mirage Endpoint Control is already deployed in production environments in Japan, Korea, and Spain, as well as many other countries in EMEA, Asia Pacific, and South America.
“Customers love it - it has made our job so much easier to offer them a NAC solution that supports the local language,” said Peter Nahm, chief technical officer of Innocore, Mirage Networks’ partner in Korea. “It really speaks volumes about the commitment Mirage Networks has made to its global partners and customers.”
Mirage Networks’ sales in the EMEA, Latin America and Asia Pacific markets have surged this fiscal year to date, up more than 500% over FY2006. Mirage supports more than 400 customers worldwide.
“Mirage is the original NAC vendor and continues to offer an innovative approach to solving a complicated problem for both the domestic and international marketplace,” said Greg Stock, president and CEO of Mirage Networks. “Because of the advanced state of our technology we are now able to add features for our customers like international language compatibility that solidify our leadership position in the NAC industry."
The Mirage Endpoint Control solution monitors all network devices both before and after users attempt to log onto the network, combining pre-admission authentication and compliance checks with post-admission behavioral monitoring. The process delivers a comprehensive, full-cycle NAC solution.
