Mirage Networks Announces User Conference

Company Invites its 450 Customers to OASIS 2008

Austin, TX – October, 2007 – Mirage Networks, developer of patented Network Access Control (NAC) solutions, today announced it will welcome an international gathering of customers, partners, industry leaders and analysts to its annual NAC technology user conference February 25-26, at the Stephen F. Austin hotel in Austin, Texas. Participants from Mirage’s 450 customers and 150 partners will be gathering at Oasis 2008 to share insights and learn innovative and advanced approaches to Network Access Control and how NAC solutions are making a dramatic impact on the network security industry.

“Network managers, corporate security, and desktop IT support organizations all now understand the value of NAC,” states Michael Suby, Research Director at Stratecast (a Division of Frost & Sullivan). “Yet, finding the best pathway to extract its full value is far from clear. As an experienced and successful solution provider and host of this event, Mirage is offering an excellent forum for information exchange about all aspects of Network Access Control. I anticipate that those attending will come away better equipped to move forward from concept to implementation.”

The agenda will address the trend in many organizations toward converging networking, security, compliance and desktop support to address the need for NAC. Special guests and representatives from the analyst community, industry luminaries and security experts will be featured at the conference. The agenda will include keynotes, educational workshops, case studies and topical breakout sessions as well as a hands-on product and services showcase.

“I am excited to support Mirage in its plans to host an annual customer conference in 2008,” said Brett Childress, director of IT infrastructure at National Instruments. “Creating a user-focused event is a natural evolution of the Mirage strategy to partner with its customers to provide a superior NAC solution that ensures their success.”

Mirage Networks helps enterprises defend their networks from zero-day threats and policy violations with patented, full-cycle, agentless network access control technology. The combination of access control, threat prevention and automated policy enforcement provides an in-depth view of endpoint activity throughout its lifecycle and delivers powerful analysis and network intelligence for network history and usage.

“Customer demand for this event is a testament to the remarkable reach and power of our NAC solution in the industry,” said Greg Stock, president and CEO of Mirage Networks. “We are honored and extremely excited to provide this forum for our customers, partners and friends to share their thoughts, ideas and best practices.”
