Austin, TX – February 19, 2008 – Mirage Networks, developer of the only patented Network Access Control (NAC) solution, today announced its results for 2007. The company reports dramatically increased revenues, a rapidly expanding customer base and explosive channel partner growth.

  • 219 new deals

  • The addition of well-known brand named customers including the Administrative Office of the Courts-- California, Comcast, Cooper Clinic, Embraer, Home Depot, Independence Blue Cross, Ken Blanchard Companies, Memorial Sloan Kettering, New York City Transit, Parexel, Rich Products, Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company, Silverstein Properties, The Pennsylvania State University, The Sak, Tri-State Generation and Transmission, Volkswagen, University of Virginia and the University of Wisconsin
  • Research analyst acknowledgement and recognition that Mirage’s historical foundation in post-admission NAC is crucial to every successful deployment
  • Implementations tailoring the Mirage offering to solve specific customer governance, risk & compliance problems, such as enforcing PCI compliance, preventing illegal P2P file sharing, managing gaming consoles, and controlling instant messaging

In 2007, Mirage introduced its most scalable product to date designed for large enterprise deployments. The company also introduced its first branch office appliance, designed to create an interconnected network fabric for organizations with numerous remote offices. The appliance integrates with a Mirage Operations Console for centralized control and reporting.

Mirage’s NAC solution effectively enables maximum network performance by controlling network access, isolating non-compliant and threatening endpoints, and providing self-remediation capabilities. Mirage’s network-based solution is the easiest NAC solution to deploy, as it requires no agent software, deploys “virtually inline,” and works in any network environment.

“We are proud of Mirage Networks’ strong performance in 2007 and extremely optimistic about 2008,” said Greg Stock, president and CEO of Mirage Networks. “In 2007, we created great distance between ourselves and our competition. In 2008, we will become the de facto standard NAC solution.”

Mirage will host the industry’s first International NAC Customer Conference, February 25-27 in Austin, Texas. OASIS 2008 will feature keynote presentations from analysts and industry insiders as well as breakout sessions for NAC users to explore how they can further optimize their security investments.
