Austin, TX – January 28, 2008 – Mirage Networks, developer of the only patented Network Access Control (NAC) solution, today announced that Cooper Clinic of Fort Smith, Arkansas, has deployed a managed NAC solution to protect sensitive medical equipment from the effects of rapidly propagating network worms and malware. AT&T Managed Security Services monitors the joint AT&T/Mirage Networks deployment. Through the managed solution model, Mirage is able to offer our customers exceptional NAC technology regardless of budget or human resources.
Mirage safeguards networks from threats by providing full-cycle Network Access Control. Its technology effectively enables maximum network performance by controlling network access, monitoring network behavior, isolating non-compliant endpoints, and providing self-remediation capabilities. Mirage’s networkbased solution requires no agent software, deploys “virtually inline,” and works in any environment.
“Mirage technology is well suited to a managed deployment,” said Greg Stock, president and CEO of Mirage Networks. “These solutions are an excellent option for clients in need of NAC security but who do not wish to reassign personnel to oversee the deployment or devote the resources to invest in a solution upfront.”
