AUSTIN, Texas—April 19, 2007--Mirage Networks®, Inc., developer of award-winning Network Access Control (NAC) technology, announced today that Alpha Bank & Trust has selected Mirage Networks Endpoint Control to secure its network infrastructure from evolving security threats while remaining compliant with an increasingly stringent regulatory environment.
“As part of our mission to provide first-rate banking products and trust services, it is our responsibility to ensure the most secure environment possible for our customers,” said Jamie Roller, AVP and IT Manager of Alpha Bank & Trust. “With the easy to deploy, easy to manage NAC solution from Mirage Networks, we can offer our customers worry-free Internet banking by carefully controlling access and enforcing security policy across our entire network.”
Alpha Bank & Trust worked with Perket Technologies, a Mirage Networks ChannelFirst™ reseller, to make its purchasing decision as well as to ensure a productive and efficient implementation of the Mirage solution.
The Mirage Endpoint Control solution monitors all network devices both before and after users attempt to log onto the network, combining pre-admission authentication and compliance checks with post-admission behavioral monitoring. The process delivers a comprehensive, full-cycle NAC solution.
“Financial institutions operate under strict regulations regarding the privacy and security of customer data,” said Greg Stock, president and CEO of Mirage Networks. “The ability to maintain business continuity and provide superior customer service while protecting against internal network threats and policy abuses is truly business- critical.”
